Appointments with our nurse practitioners involve a psychiatric assessment in a therapeutic environment, and treatment is decided as a patient provider team. We write for psychiatric medications, though it is only one option we will consider as we develop our plan together. We encourage (though do not require) a treatment team approach for open dialogue among designated family members, primary care provider, and psychotherapist for optimal outcomes. As current patients have come to expect, we utilize the most current evidence-based treatment modalities involving a holistic approach to feeling well within.  

Our psychiatric nurse practitioners specialize in treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric symptoms including Acute Stressors, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety and Panic Symptoms, Bipolar Spectrum, Compulsions, Depression, Dysthymia, Difficulty Concentrating, Impulsivity, Insomnia, Obsessive Thinking, Overwhelm, Pharmacogenomic Testing, Personality Disruptions, PTSD, Self-Harm Thoughts and Behaviors, and Thought Disturbance.

We are inclusion professionals who value diversity, equity and culture. LGBTQ+ friendly. Please note we do not prescribe stimulant medications such as Adderall or Ritalin. This is based on a state law due to not having a medical director.  We also do not complete disability status forms (short or long term) for the same reason. We can provide your PCP with notes for their consideration.
